Review by hotel critic
Staying at Rowan Brae Historic Guesthouse was a delightful experience that still lingers in my mind. Nestled in a peaceful setting, the well-kept gardens are a true highlight; I spent my mornings sipping tea on the patio, taking in the serene garden view. Our room, with its comfortable double bed, was beautifully presented and had all the essentials, like a flat-screen TV and lovely toiletries that made our stay even more enjoyable. Although access could be tricky, a bit of signage outside would resolve that, the warmth of our host, Joe, and the impeccable cleanliness made it all worthwhile. I can't wait to return, perhaps during the rhododendron bloom, for a chance to explore nearby gardens and enjoy more cozy evenings in this charming retreat!
